Using KEYBAKI Labs on a phone

For teachersFor parentsFor students· 1 min read

What works on a phone and what needs a computer with a keyboard.

KEYBAKI Labs teaches computer skills, so the hands-on parts need a computer. A phone is still useful for watching and for many practice problems.

On a phone you can

  • watch Show me for any activity;
  • do practice problems that don't need a spreadsheet grid or keyboard editing;
  • read My Skills and your History.

You need a computer for

  • Guide me and Let me try;
  • Typing Studio;
  • practice problems with a spreadsheet grid or keyboard editing;
  • some skill checks. On a phone, KEYBAKI Labs suggests a check your phone can run instead.

When something needs a computer, KEYBAKI Labs says so and points you to what you can do on the phone instead. A tablet with a keyboard counts as a tablet, not a computer.
