Skill checks and My Skills

Show what you can do in nineteen everyday digital skills, then read your levels and your History on My Skills.

A skill check is how you show what you can do in KEYBAKI Labs. There are nineteen, across the six areas, from organising files to spotting a phishing message.

Taking a skill check

  1. Open Skill checks in KEYBAKI Labs and pick one. Each check says what it asks for, and what to practise first if you are not ready.
  2. A check has three scenarios: short real-life tasks you do on the practice computer, on your own.
  3. Pass two scenarios to be Competent. Pass all three to be Applying confidently.
  4. Not there yet? The result shows what to practise, then you can try again.

Skill checks are practice checks, not an exam or a certificate. There are no grades or rankings, and they go at your own pace.

My Skills

My Skills shows your progress in one place:

  • your level in each area and the skill checks you have shown;
  • the activities and practice problems you have done on your own;
  • Next skill, which suggests what to learn next, staying in the same area first;
  • History, a log of what you did and when, day by day.

My Skills is your own page. To share your progress, show it to your parent or teacher yourself.
