KEYBAKI Labs and the family pass

KEYBAKI Labs comes with the family pass, the same cover as the library and CEAs. Trial days, a paused account, and asking a parent to top up.

KEYBAKI Labs has no separate price. It is part of the Keybaki family pass, the same cover that opens the library and CEAs.

Who has KEYBAKI Labs

Teachers and school staff — always, free.
Students — during their trial, or while the family wallet has tokens. One token (KES 10) covers one child for one day.
Parents — while at least one of their children is covered.

When a student's cover runs out

Your progress is kept, and you can still sign in and see My Skills. New practice waits until the family wallet is topped up.

Tap Ask my parent to top up in KEYBAKI Labs. Your parent gets a notification, and so do you when the top-up lands.
When two days or fewer are left, KEYBAKI Labs tells you, so you can ask in time.

For parents

Tap Top up in KEYBAKI when KEYBAKI Labs asks, or top up from Wallet in the app (M-Pesa top-up). A top-up shows in KEYBAKI Labs within about a minute.

Common issues

"No parent has linked you." A student account needs a parent's account before the family pass can cover it. Ask your parent to add you on their Family screen.
