Reviewing school transfers

Confirm or reject teacher and child school transfers. One transfer moves one person — children move via their own transfer rows.

Transfers land in the same Verify schools queue as claims, on the Transfers pane, sorted newest first.

What a transfer shows

Kind, from-school, to-school, grade, who requested it (with phone), when, an optional note, and status.

Deciding

Confirm transfer — moves the subject's school and stamps the row confirmed. The subject (or the child's parent) gets a notification of the decision.
Reject… — type a short reason (at least 8 characters, visible to the requester) and confirm.

One transfer moves exactly one person. A teacher's transfer never moves their children — each child's school changes only via its own transfer row, filed by the parent.

Common issues

The requester wants to add context after filing. There's no back-and-forth on the row — reach them on the listed phone, or reject with a reason asking them to refile.
Confirm failed with school_inactive. The target school was deactivated after the request was filed; reactivate it in the registry first, or reject the transfer.
