Building your streak
For students· 2 min read
Your streak counts consecutive days you've taken at least one CEA. Five minutes a day is enough to keep it alive.
Your streak is a count of consecutive days you've taken at least one CEA. It's not about scoring high — taking a quiz at all (any time before midnight EAT) keeps the streak alive. The point is the rhythm.
How it counts
- Take 1+ CEAs in a day → that day counts.
- Take 0 CEAs in a day → the streak resets to 0 the next day.
- Doesn't matter what time of day you take the CEA, as long as it's before midnight your local time.
- Weekends + holidays count the same as weekdays.
Where you see it
- Home → the big green card at the top — your streak chip sits at the top right ("3-day streak").
- Profile → stats strip — alongside total CEAs, average score, bookmarks.
- Week dots in the same card show the current week's daily activity.
Tips to keep it going
- Take one CEA first thing in the morning. Five minutes over breakfast. You're done for the day.
- Set a phone reminder. Until the rhythm sticks, a daily alarm is the easiest cue.
- Pick short CEAs on busy days. 5-question quizzes count just as much as 10-question ones.
- Don't chase length — chase consistency. A 1-question CEA is enough.
When the streak resets
If you miss a day, the streak goes back to 0 the next time you take a CEA. Don't sweat it — the goal is consistency, not perfection. The current streak just restarts — one CEA today puts you back on the board.
Common issues
- Took a CEA but streak didn't update. Refresh the home screen. The counter updates on next render.
- Took a CEA after midnight by accident. It counts for the new day, not the old one. Bummer.
