Term overview and coverage

The term overview is your one-page snapshot of curriculum coverage for the term. Every delivered plan counts. The view tells you which strands you've covered, which are gaps, and how the rest of the term should sequence.

What "coverage" means

• A strand is covered when every one of its sub-strands has at least one delivered plan.
• A strand is partially covered when some sub-strands have delivered plans but not all.
• A strand is uncovered when no delivered plan binds to it. (A strand with only Draft/Ready plans shows a softer "started" marker.)

Coverage rolls up from sub-strand → strand → subject → grade automatically.

What you see

1. Coverage hero — percent covered across all strands you're teaching this term. Big donut, with delta against your term target.
2. By subject — coverage breakdown per subject you teach. Tap a subject to drill into strands.
3. Strand grid — each strand as a tile, coloured green (covered) / amber (partial) / red (uncovered).
4. Upcoming plans — Ready plans for this term, in date order. The "plan this week" CTA opens the wizard prefilled with the next uncovered strand.

Common issues

• Coverage shows lower than I expected. Check the affected plans' status — only Delivered plans count. Ready plans don't.
• The percent looks lower than the grid suggests. Partially covered strands count half in the percent (covered = 1, partial = 0.5), so amber tiles pull the number down until their remaining sub-strands are delivered.
