Timetable day view

For teachers· 1 min read

Zoom into a single day for a full-width block list. Better on phone, with attachments + bound-plan preview inline.

Day view zooms into one day at a time. Pick the day from the pill row at the top (the chevrons step a whole week); tapping a block opens its detail panel — the block's plan, room, and actions.

When to use day view

  • On phone — the 5-column week grid is cramped; day view is far more readable.
  • Morning prep — open today's day view to see every block + its bound plan in one scroll.
  • End-of-day — check what ran and open plans to mark them delivered.

What each block card shows

  1. Start time on the left rule.
  2. Subject (coloured) with grade · start – end · room on the sub-line.

The detail panel (tap a block)

  • The plan for that date — a card you tap to open, or Add a plan when none exists yet (it starts the wizard for that block and date).
  • Edit block — opens the same editor as week view.
  • Delete — removes the block (plans are untouched).

Marking a plan delivered happens on the plan itself, not from the timetable.

Common issues

  • Day view is empty. Either today is a non-school day, or your timetable hasn't been set up yet. Add at least one block in week view to seed.
