How blocks and plans connect

There is no explicit "bind" step between a block and a plan. The connection is computed: a plan whose subject, grade, and lesson date match a block's slot shows up on that block automatically.

How the match works

• When you create a plan, the wizard's schedule bar has you pick one of your recurring blocks — that sets the plan's subject + grade + date to the block's slot (see Binding a plan to a timetable block).
• The timetable then finds the plan by matching those three fields. Nothing is stored on the block itself, so editing either side keeps them in sync as long as the fields still match.

What you see

• Week view — a small green dot ("Plan ready" in the legend) on any block whose slot has a matching plan.
• Day view → block detail — the matching plan as a card you tap to open, or Add a plan when the slot has none (it starts the wizard for that block and date).

What the connection does not do

• It doesn't change plan status — Mark ready and Mark delivered stay explicit taps on the plan.
• It doesn't fire reminders on its own.
• Deleting a block doesn't touch the plan (and vice versa) — the match simply stops resolving if the fields diverge.

Common issues

• The green dot didn't appear. The plan's subject, grade, or date doesn't match the block — open the plan and check its schedule bar.
• Two plans for the same slot. The block shows one; keep dates distinct or archive the spare.
