Terms of service summary

For public· 1 min read

The short version of what you agree to by using Keybaki. Full terms at /legal/terms.

By creating a Keybaki account you agree to the full Terms of Service. Here's the spirit of it in plain English.

What you can do

  • Use Keybaki to teach, plan, learn, and assess in good faith.
  • Create and own your lesson plans, notes, uploads, and bookmarks.
  • Share content with classes you actually teach (or learners you actually parent).

What you can't do

  • Reproduce, redistribute, or resell KICD library content — that material belongs to the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service. We use signed URLs, rate limits, and watermarks on premium content.
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or copyright-infringing material. Repeat abuse triggers account suspension.
  • Impersonate another user, role, or school.

Account responsibility

  • One Keybaki account per phone number. Don't share your OTP or your child's PIN.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if it's compromised — Settings → Security → Sign out everywhere is the panic button.

Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Sign out & danger zone.
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We give notice and a chance to respond unless the issue is urgent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes resolve in Kenyan courts, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable law.
