Editing or deleting a plan
Edit any plan inline from the detail screen. Deleting a delivered plan affects coverage; archive instead when in doubt.
Plans aren't locked once saved. Quick additions happen right on the detail screen; everything else is one tap away in the edit wizard — each block deep-links straight to its own step, so you never walk through screens you didn't come to change.
Inline edits (from the detail screen)
- Learning outcomes — + Add another outcome appends a line.
- Lesson steps — + Add an activity appends a step; the × on a step removes it (each step is one presenter slide).
- Attachments — upload more files or remove existing ones from the Attachments block.
- Speaker notes — editable per slide inside the presenter; they autosave as you type.
Jumping into the wizard
Each block header carries an edit shortcut that opens the wizard directly on the right step:
- Edit outcomes → Curriculum
- Edit (Library resources) → Resources
- Edit steps (Activities) → Lesson steps
- Edit (Assessment) → Lesson steps · Edit (CBC framework) → Framework
Inside the edit wizard the top stepper is fully clickable — a saved plan has every step complete, so you can jump forwards or backwards freely. The wizard autosaves; Save and Close waits for saving before returning to the plan.
Deleting
The lesson action panel has Delete Lesson. This is a hard delete — the row is removed, attachments are queued for R2 cleanup, and any timetable binding is severed.
Deleting a Delivered plan removes its contribution to strand coverage. Consider Archive Plan if you want it out of the list without affecting coverage history.
Common issues
- Can't edit a field on a delivered plan. Some fields are read-only after delivery (date, status timeline). Use Revert to Ready in the action panel if you really need to change a delivered date.
- Deleted by accident. Deletion is permanent and has no undo. Archive a taught lesson when you need to retain its history.
After Teaching
Use Add a Reflection to record what worked. Editing lesson content preserves its status and permits the existing historical date. Revert a taught lesson to Ready before changing its date.
Print or Save PDF
Open Print or Save PDF to preview a clean lesson document. Private teacher notes, extra support, extra challenge, and reflection are excluded by default; select Include Private Teacher Notes if you want them in the document. Choose Print Lesson, then your printer or the browser's Save as PDF destination.
