My students roster

My Students (/students) shows every child attached to your school — not a list you build one invite at a time. The pairing is implicit: you teach at a school, so you see the students at that school. Narrow the list with the grade chips, class-stream filter, and name search.

Before students appear

Two things must be true:

1. You've set your school on your Profile. No school → a "No school on file" card pointing you there.
2. You've been confirmed at that school. A self-onboarded teacher is pending until a verified school contact or an admin approves them — until then you see "Awaiting school confirmation" and no students. (Your library and plans work in the meantime.)

Once both hold, the roster fills with the children at your campus.

What each row shows

• Name + grade — with a class-stream chip if they've been assigned one, and a transfer pending badge if they're mid-transfer.
• Parent — the parent's name, or "Parent not yet signed up" if the child was added but their parent hasn't joined.
• Stream picker — a dropdown to assign the child to one of your school's class streams (only streams matching the child's grade are offered).
• Recommend — opens the library scoped to that student so you can send them a specific item.

Narrowing the list

• Grade chips — show a single grade.
• Class stream — filter to one stream, or Show only my streams to hide streams you don't teach.
• Search — by student name.

Confirming pending students

When a parent picks your school themselves, their child arrives pending — a stranger typing a school name shouldn't surface real students. A Pending students card lists the ones you're allowed to confirm (scoped to your subjects + grades). Confirming a student moves them from the card straight into your roster. Inviting parents

Invite a parent is for onboarding a child whose parent isn't on Keybaki yet — it's not how the roster is populated (the school attachment does that). Sent invites appear in a rail with a revoke option.

• Single invite — Invite a parent for one at a time.
• Bulk invite — a CSV / paste of parent phones.

Common issues

• A student I expect isn't here. Check you're confirmed at the school (not pending), and clear any grade/stream filter. If a parent self-picked your school, the child sits in Pending students until you confirm them.
• The roster is empty with no filters set. Nobody's been attached to your school yet — invite a parent to onboard their child.
• I can't assign a stream. Streams only offer to matching-grade students; a Grade-9 stream won't show for a Grade-7 child. If assignment fails, the student or stream may belong to a different school — refresh.
• Removing a student. The link is the parent's to revoke (from their Family screen). For a safety issue, raise it with an admin.
